Indonesia plans to end fuel subsidies for drivers

In Indonesia, the government spends billions of dollars subsidising petrol for drivers, but now says it cannot afford to do so anymore.

Discussions have been underway to try reduce the national fuel subsidies. However, such a plan is likely to meet with stiff resistance, as the BBC's Karishma Vaswani reports.
