China Vice President Xi Jinping begins US trip

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, who is widely tipped to become President in 2013, is beginning an official visit to the United States on Monday.

He'll meet President Barack Obama in Washington before travelling to Iowa and Los Angeles in a trip that will be closely watched to see how Xi might influence ties between the world's two largest economies.

The BBC's Rico Hizon asked Tony Nash of IHS Global Insight whether the US perception that China has an unfair trade advantage would be uppermost on the agenda.
