Business Bites: Nissan to build new car in Sunderland

Japanese car maker Nissan is to build a new compact model, called the Invitation, at its Sunderland factory.

The company said that its £125m investment would create 2,000 jobs.

Meanwhile, Brazil, one of the world's fastest-growing economies, grew by less than expected in 2011.

The Latin American nation's economy grew 2.7% last year, official figures show, less than the 2.8% predicted.
