Aston Martin eyes Chinese market
Aston Martin is confident about the spending power of the Chinese consumer in the medium and long term.
The British luxury carmaker, which has been selling cars in China since 2008, recently opened its flagship showroom in the Pudong district of Shanghai.
Aston's Asia Pacific regional director Matthew Bennett tells the BBC the company sees China and the Asian market as a whole accounting for between 20% - 25% of its global business, even if it takes a number of years to achieve.
