The next challenge for Yahoo as CEO steps down
Yahoo has announced its Chief Executive Scott Thompson is stepping down after a controversy over a fake computer science college degree on his CV.
The mistake was brought to light by a Yahoo shareholder - Dan Loeb - who is keen for new members to be appointed to the board of the company.
It seems he has succeeded, as Yahoo announced three new board members will be appointed next month.
Ross Levinsohn, who oversees Yahoo's content and advertising services, is taking over as interim CEO.
The BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones outlines the challenges faced by the company.
