Jason Iftakhar is co-founder of Salford based company Swifty Scooters.

He says it is a great time for young graduates and designers to start a business, as it is now cheaper than it has ever been, with lots of cheap tools at hand to help manage a start-up.

Entrepreneurs do not need lots of finance either, says Jason - just a good idea for a product and an idea of who the customer is. Testing the market is easy, and social media offers cheap, innovative ways to advertise a product.
