RBS boss says software upgrade caused problems
Millions of customers of the RBS banking group, which includes NatWest and Ulster Bank face a seventh day of disruption.
Bank staff are still working through a massive backlog of problems after last week's computer software break down.
The RBS boss, Stephen Hester, said the bank was big enough to deal with the problem and pledged that no customer would be out of pocket.
