Bank of England's Paul Tucker denies 'leaning on' Barclays

Senior MPs investigating the rate rigging scandal at Barclays four years ago have been questioning Paul Tucker, the deputy governor of the Bank Of England.

They have been trying to find out if the bank or any ministers in the Labour government of the time knew about what was going on.

Mr Tucker denied he played any part in attempts to manipulate interest rates.
