Minister expected to offer Peugeot aid to halt job cuts
France's industry minister will meet the chief executive of Peugeot on Wednesday to discuss the car makers plans to axe 8000 jobs and close one of its key factories.
It is expected the government will offer the car maker a package of state aid if it reduces the job cuts.
But will this be enough to change the minds of Peugeot's managers?
