Mike Lynch: 'HP managed Autonomy badly'

The former chief executive officer of Autonomy has denied allegations by Hewlett-Packard that the company misrepresented its finances prior to HP's takeover of the software group in 2011.

Mike Lynch, who is also a non-executive BBC director, said he had been "ambushed" by the claims and that he rejected them.

He told the BBC that HP had made the allegations to distract from its "bad management" of the company.
