Brics nations to have 'weak 2013'
The Brics nations - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - will see a "relatively weak" economic picture in 2013, says Barclays economist Nigel Chalk.
He told the BBC's Leisha Chi that this was due to continuing weakness in the global economy.
Yet at the same time, Mr Chalk said he expected strong growth to continue in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.
He said these four countries were continuing to benefit from strong domestic demand.
