Would you pay £14,000 a night to live like Beckham?

Details have been released of the £14,000-a-night hotel suite at Le Bristol hotel in Paris, where David Beckham will live for five months while playing for Paris St-Germain.

The Imperial Suite is more than 320 sq m (3,440 sq ft) and contains a private dining room, three bedrooms, a large dressing room and a huge pink marble bathroom, complete with his and hers wash basins.

But what could that money buy you at a hotel in Britain? And for those on a more modest budget, where - and how - can consumers find a bargain?
