Admiralty Arch to be made into a luxury hotel

The iconic Admiralty Arch in London's Trafalgar Square is set to be turned into a hotel after the government sold a 99-year lease for £60 million.

Adam Fleming had a rare look inside some of the building's rooms, where the new owners are to seek planning permission to convert the drab offices, which offer views over Westminster.

It is one in a series of government buildings being sold off to slim down the property portfolio and make some money.
