Childcare: Are grandparents entitled to flexible hours?

Many people are relying on grandparents and in-laws to provide childcare, according to the charity Grandparents Plus.

It says research shows almost 20% of grandmothers provide at least ten hours of childcare a week, and around 90% of them provide this care for free.

But the charity warns that as the state pension age rises, it may become increasingly difficult for grandparents to continue providing such support.

BBC Breakfast has been asking people whether they think grandparents deserve flexible hours.
