Quebec fire: Train safety 'pretty good'

The head of the train company whose oil tankers exploded in a small Quebec town on Saturday says his company follows "industry standards" and its safety record has improved.

At least 15 people were killed in the derailment and fire in Lac-Megantic, and more than 30 people are still unaccounted for.

As a criminal inquiry into the incident began, Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway chairman Edward Burkhardt said he did not blame fire fighters for the incident as previously suggested.
