Higher lobster catches hit prices

America's lobster industry is being hard hit by falling prices for the crustaceans.

The Maine area is responsible for one-third of the world's lobster catch.

In 1990, 28m pounds were caught, but last year that had soared to 126m.

Benihana chef and lobster expert David Tran told BBC World that his restaurant had not benefitted from lower prices.
