There has been plenty of good news about the housing market in recent weeks.

Buyers are returning to the market in their biggest number for four years, prices are up, and the government's Help to Buy Scheme is starting to pick up.

But are enough new homes being built to supply this growing demand?

Rachel Fisher from the National Housing Federation told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money: "It's an incredibly tiny drop in the ocean... we need 250,000 new homes a year just to keep up with the demand."
