Has life become any easier for Portuguese people?

After 18 months of recession, the Portuguese economy has finally shown signs of recovery.

Portugal's economy outperformed the rest of the Eurozone with economic growth of 1.1% between April and June, driven by a 6.3% increase in exports.

But has life become any easier for ordinary people?

BBC Radio 5 live's Drive reporter Dominic Laurie has been in Portugal asking locals such as housekeeper Tanya - who lives on just €600 a month - about their experiences.
