US fast-food workers want strike action over low wages

Fast-food and retail workers in the US are calling for a nationwide strike today protesting their low wages.

It's part of a growing movement of low wage workers demanding the right to start a union.

Workers want at least $15 dollars an hour in pay, more than double America's current minimum wage.

Samira Hussain met with one such worker in New York.
