Bangladesh garment factory workers demand higher wages
Thousands of garment workers have taken to the streets in Bangladesh in another day of protests.
More than 100 factories were forced to shut for a third day on Monday due to the widespread protests as workers demanded higher wages and better working conditions.
Bangladesh's clothing industry exported about $20bn (£12.5bn) worth of ready made garments last year. But workers argue that they have not benefitted from the phenomenal growth of the sector.
