Ex-Co-op boss: I can't remember Lloyds getting nervous

The former chief executive of the Co-op Group has told MPs he cannot remember Lloyds Bank raising concerns about Project Verde in December 2012.

Peter Marks was being questioned by the Treasury Committee of MP over the purchase of 632 Lloyds bank branches, which Co-op Bank pulled out of in April.

Mr Marks said: "We were all concerned about whether we could do this deal - all of us."
