Sir Stuart Rose: high street shops must 'move on'

Sir Stuart Rose has admitted to having little sympathy for high street shops which fail to adapt to changing times.

The former executive chairman of Marks and Spencer claimed that the needs of customers have changed massively because of the internet - and businesses must learn to keep up.

Speaking with BBC Radio 5 live's Stephen Nolan, Sir Stuart said: "Those people who don't move on - like some of the high streets in the UK - have got to look out. I'm not entirely sympathetic."
