'Superwoman' Nicola Horlick on crowdfunding venture

Investment manager Nicola Horlick - known as 'Superwoman' - has been telling BBC Breakfast about her new 'crowdfunding' venture, Money&Co, which enables small companies to borrow money from the general public, rather than a bank.

Ms Horlick admitted that for the people lending the money, "It's relatively high risk but on the other hand you're being compensated by getting a much higher return on your money."

"It's been really difficult for companies to get money from banks and that's preventing them from growing", she added.
