Janet Yellen to face tough questions at Senate hearing

Dr Janet Yellen - the woman the White House wants to run the Federal Reserve after Ben Bernanke - faces the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday.

She is likely to face tough questions about the US central bank's stimulus measures.

In comments prepared for the hearing published on Wednesday she said unemployment in America was still too high and the Fed had "more work to do".

But her nomination - and those policies - are controversial, as Samira Hussain reports from Washington.
