Typhoon could cut Philippines growth by percentage point
Philippines Finance Minister Cesar Purisima has told the BBC that the devastation caused by the Typhoon Haiyan could reduce growth by one percentage point next year.
The IMF forecasts the Philippines economy will grow by 6% next year.
Mr Purisima also said it would take "many years" to rebuild the infrastructure caused by the storm.
The official death toll stands at more than 2,300, but it is expected to rise much higher.
