Nestle boss: 'We need to plug youth unemployment gap'

Nestle has announced a three-year drive to take on almost 2,000 young workers in the UK and Ireland.

Just under one million young people in Britain are out of work - and there are concerns they could become a lost generation, finding it impossible to get work without any experience.

One of Nestle's young engineers told the BBC she enjoyed the variety of work.

Nestle UK chief executive Fiona Kendrick explained the firm was taking action to counter an ageing workforce and skills gap.
