Argos depot enlists extra help for Cyber Monday
With 7.7 million online transactions expected today - 2 December is set to become the biggest internet shopping day of the year.
Dubbed "Cyber Monday" - it is estimated that around £300,000 is being spent online every minute by Christmas shoppers.
BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast reporter Stephen Chittenden visited one of Argos' biggest distribution centres in Basildon, to find out how they were coping.
Manager Robert Thomas told him, "We've got an extra 300 people coming in to help us.... as we'll be moving out 200,000 units from this one site."
