UK unemployment rate drops to 7.1%

The Bank of England has said there is no rush to raise interest rates, despite a fall in unemployment.

The jobless rate now stands at 7.1%, which is just above the 7% mark at which the Bank said it would consider raising interest rates from their current all-time low.

The latest figures show that the number of people in work also grew by a record amount.
