China plane-maker Comac looks to challenge market leaders

The rivalry between the world's biggest commercial plane manufacturers Boeing and Airbus is well-documented.

But China is aiming to challenge their market dominance, and is investing billions of dollars into state-owned Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China or Comac.

Comac's first aircraft is due to make its maiden test flight in 2015 and the company says it has already received orders for hundreds of planes.

Ahleigh Nghiem went to the Singapore Air Show to find out more about Comac's plans.
