High priced clothes will last longer, shoppers told

A fashion brand has urged customers to invest in more expensive clothes because they will last longer.

Deploy, which says it sells sustainable clothing, also claimed people would be less tempted to throw items away if they have paid a high price for them.

The brand's creative director, Dr Bernice Pan, told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money: "It invites them not to shop in an irresponsible way."
