Supermarket price war sees cost of milk go down
Morrisons is the the latest supermarket to lower the cost of milk, as a price war between the big four supermarkets continues.
The average price of a large container of milk was just under 31 pence a pint after Tesco and Sainsbury's lowered their prices to compete with Asda.
Now, following Morrisons' reduction, the average is the equivalent of just under 25 pence - a drop of nearly 20% in a week.
