Sainsbury's boss: Supermarket 'maintaining market share'

Sainsbury's has reported its first fall in sales for nine years and says the grocery market is growing at its slowest rate since 2005.

The supermarket's chief executive Justin King told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that the figures must be put "in context".

He explained that Sainsbury's "maintained" its market share during the latest period, over the 10 weeks to 15 March.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Tuesday 18 March.
