SSE freezes energy prices until 2016

Energy supplier SSE has said it is freezing domestic gas and electricity prices until 2016.

The company has said it is paying for the freeze by cutting hundreds of jobs and selling assets.

SSE's Chairman Alistair Phillips-Davies said he hoped to cut prices as well.
