Rare access to a mobile phone quality-testing lab

BBC chief business correspondent Linda Yueh has been granted rare access to the mobile manufacturer ZTE's quality testing lab in Shenzhen, China.

This is where the firm - the world's fifth biggest handset maker by volume - conducts various stress tests on its designs.

ZTE was granted 16,000 patents last year - but, as Linda reports, those ideas must survive in the real world and that includes twisting and dropping.
