Energy Secretary Ed Davey dismisses 'blackout' fears
Energy and Climate Change Minister, Ed Davey, has insisted the government has a strategy that will "keep the lights on" despite concern over a lack of investment and spare capacity in the energy industry.
Last year the regulator, Ofgem, warned that spare electricity production capacity could fall to 2% by 2015.
But speaking to the BBC's Sunday Politics, Mr Davey insisted that the government had been "pushing up investment massively" since it came to power.Watch the full interview: Ed Davey and Andrew Neil
