World Cup: Countering illegal streaming sites 'challenging'
For many sports fans around Asia, watching the World Cup on TV is simply too expensive.
And a few will skirt around the system and watch pirated streams of the matches.
According to the World Intellectual Property Organization, there were more than 18,000 illegal broadcasts of games over the internet during the 2010 World Cup.
The problem is just as serious this year.
Graham Kill, chief executive of Irdeto a firm which specialises in piracy control, explained to the BBC's Puneet Pal Singh that it is a challenging problem.
