'Not a proud day for Wonga' - managing director

The discovery that payday lender Wonga sent letters from non-existent law firms to customers in arrears is "not a proud day", the company has said.

Managing Director of Wonga UK Tessa Cook apologised to customers and promised that those affected would be compensated.
