Financial Times redesign sets sights online

The Financial Times has redesigned the print version of the newspaper, as the FT shifts focus to its digital operation.

Financial Times editor Lionel Barber explained on the Today programme that the print edition is now designed to "complement the digital output".

"The news now is appearing online, whereas the newspaper is a snapshot of the most important news and analysis," he added.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Monday 15 September.
