What's going on with the global economy? Turmoil across global financial markets and a spike in Greek and Italian borrowing costs yesterday reignited fears about Europe's recovery.

US shares dropped, following big losses on European and Asian stock markets due to continuing concerns about global economic growth and the Ebola crisis.

The sell-off follows heavy losses in the US, Europe and Asia on Wednesday.

Mishal Hussain spoke to Stephanie Flanders, JP Morgan Asset Management's chief market strategist for the UK and Europe and Constatin Michalos, head of the Athens Chamber of Commerce.
