Tesco scandal highlights supplier ties

Tesco is to give an update on Wednesday into the accounting scandal that stunned the city earlier this year, wiping billions off the market value of the company and putting it in the sights of regulators and politicians.

It centres on how Tesco has been recording income from its suppliers.

The error is shining a light on the relationship between suppliers and the supermarkets, as Emma Simpson reports.
