Japan's failing economy triggers snap elections

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called elections only two years after taking office due to the country's failing economy.

The country has been struggling economically for around 20 years, but the prime minister's 'Abenomics' policies were supposed to turn it around.

The calling of elections suggest it has not worked.
