India's cattle slaughter ban hits leather industry
The killing of cows across most of India has been outlawed for years.
Hindus - who make up the majority of India's population - revere cows. And a few weeks ago, Maharashtra became the latest state to ban the slaughter of bulls and bullocks, too.
But the effects of the ban in Maharashtra are already being felt - not just by beef lovers - but also by the leather industry.
