Are India's food subsidies doing enough?

India has more undernourished people than anywhere else, nearly 195 million or about one in six of the population, according to a United Nations report.

That is despite having one of the world's biggest food subsidy programmes.

So is the amount being spent on making food more affordable getting good enough results?
