Nestle's noodle headache may hit earnings

The food giant Nestle is set to announce its results for the first six months of the year.

The figures are likely to be dragged down by its Indian business - which has been embroiled in a scandal over the safety of its Maggi noodles.

The Bombay High court is expected to give its verdict on the ban and the Indian government is now suing the company for $100m over the massive recall in June.

The BBC's Pratiksha Ghildial reports from Delhi.
