Maggi noodles withdrawal leads to anger in India

India's food safety regulator has banned the production of Nestle's Maggi instant noodles over fears about their safety.

Tests in several Indian states showed some products contained levels of lead that were above the safety limits.

Nestle said it believed the products were completely safe but was withdrawing them as a precaution.
