Passenger delight at Ryanair compensation ruling
The budget airline, Ryanair, has lost a legal attempt to reduce the amount of time passengers have to seek compensation for delays.
Anyone kept waiting for more than three hours has six years to claim compensation, but the airline wanted to reduce the deadline to two.
Jenny Fletcher is in the middle of a lengthy court battle with Ryanair over a flight delay claim.
She told Naga Munchetty on the Victoria Derbyshire programme that there was "finally a bit of hope" for compensation.
Ryanair said the six-year rule was "unnecessary and unreasonable" and that it would appeal against the decision.
