Volkswagen emissions scandal 'shows no sign of slowing down'
Matthias Mueller has been announced as the new CEO of Volkswagen, following the diesel engine emission tests scandal that has engulfed the company.
Former chief executive Martin Winterkorn resigned on Wednesday, after admitting that the company had "totally screwed up".
But the company is facing an uphill battle to restore its reputation - and consumer trust in its brand.
