The animals of India's Republic Day parade

India will celebrate its 67th Republic Day on 26 January with a grand parade.

Republic Day honours the adoption of the Indian constitution in 1950.

The news surrounding this year's parade has been mostly about the animals.

Dogs will march after a gap of 26 years, and a report that camels would be dropped for the first time ever caused consternation.

But when the BBC crew went to the rehearsals earlier this week, they found the camels were very much a part of the parade.
