Google agrees to pay £130m in retrospective taxes

Google has agreed to pay £130m in retrospective taxes, after an audit of its accounts by the authorities.

The company maintains that its payment now is not an admission that it has avoided paying tax in the past.

It claims it is rather an acknowledgement that the rules have changed.
