Hinkley Point: French government committed to plant

The French economy minister, Emmanuel Macron, has told the BBC his government is completely committed to the construction of a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset.

EDF Energy, which is controlled by the French state, is planning to build the plant with investment from China.
